This month we spotlight our Sales Team Lead, Kim Poulter. “She always has an answer to every question,” an SMB Account Executive shared, “She has tons of creative ideas that not only help us grow and succeed as sales executives, but also to find the perfect solutions for our customers.”

“Kim has a great vision of where we can go and how we can improve on being the best for our customers. She’s 100% reliable and I can trust her,” our Sales Manager shared with me.

Kim is a positive influence for those around her, making her the perfect candidate for our 1st employee spotlight!

An Interview with Kim Poulter

I was excited to sit down with Kim and hear about her success at MeetingOne and the things she loves to do outside of work.  Kim and I had a great discussion and I loved her sense of humor that kept things light and easy-going. It’s easy to see why our customers love to work with her! Here’s what Kim had to say:

  1. How do you contribute to MeetingOne’s success?
I bring in new business and expand my existing customers into different departments and within their own team. I also talk with the Customer Support, Marketing, and Business Development Teams about customer needs and ways we could help future clients.
  2. Greatest accomplishment/ success working at MeetingOne?
Bringing a perfect, communication solution to a large government entity that is now helping them connect across the globe and save tax payer dollars. It was a long process, but glad I was able to help customize the best solution for them.
  3. What do you love most about your team?
The camaraderie – we all get along very well together.

  4. What is one obstacle you’ve overcome at MeetingOne?
I think balancing working with my current customers and closing new business while while also helping out the junior team.  At first it was a bit overwhelming, but I’ve learned to schedule time on my calendar appropriately and set aside time to just help out the junior team.
  5. What is the most exciting project you are working on right now?
The Captivate Prime journey.  I think it’s a great LMS tool for our customers and I’m excited to be learning more about the tool and start doing my own demos of the product.
  6. What do you like most about working at MeetingOne?
The company culture. I enjoy the summer picnics and company outings we get to do fairly often.  I also enjoy the positivity of the sales team – you’ll always know when we’re in the office!
  7. What is your favorite memory working at MeetingOne?
Our 2018 Holiday party.  We had a magician – and he was awesome!
  8. What is the best piece of advice that you have ever received?
You’ll never get anywhere without taking some degree of risk, so don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
  9. Any fun hobbies or what do you like to do during your free time?
I enjoy working out – I will either run or bike. I also volunteer for the  Police Department & Minds Matter.  Minds Matter is a mentorship program to help students get into college. I spend a lot of my time there with high schoolers.
