Summary of Adobe Connect: Adobe offers the following deployment options for its Adobe Connect product: SaaS, on-premises, hybrid, managed service and dedicated.

STRENGTHS

• Adobe has the most flexible and extensive set of Web-conferencing features and capabilities evaluated in this Magic Quadrant, which makes its offering suitable for advanced use cases.
• Adobe’s industry strategy comprehensively addresses the specific needs of the enterprise, healthcare, finance and education sectors. In addition, Adobe’s recent Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) certification demonstrates its commitment to meeting the complex requirements of government clients in the U.S.
• Adobe Connect offers rich customization for webinars and scales well to accommodate large events, according to reference customers.

CAUTIONS

• Adobe lacks local market presence outside North America, so customers outside the U.S. and Canada must buy from distributors and value-added resellers.
• Adobe Connect is a stand-alone, premium product that does not offer the same degree of integration with office productivity and collaboration services as competitors’ broader UCC offerings.
• One customer reference reported that audio and video in recordings were not synchronized in some cases.
